* Magic Pointer 1.0 is shareware. If you register (see MagicPointer.guide) I will send a
uuencoded keyfile + Password so that all the features of Magic Pointer are enabled.

Motorola 68000-68040 microprocessor data sheets related books.
Amiga Rom Kernels.
C programming language related books.
C++ programming language related books.
68k assembly programming related books.
I am very interested in these types of books because here
in Portugal, an EEC country, these aren't available because
some "brain damaged" persons only look in one direction and
don't check what the people really need. They think we don't
do nothing and that only PC's are used !!!
2) A registered program that you might have done. If you want
to have a keyfile + password to use in Magic Pointer, send
me a registrated version of your program! This includes
commercial programs you could have done :^)
Also, the money I am asking is to buy some more memory to my Amiga.
As I only have 4MBytes Fast Ram, some projects I am working, take
very time to compile or even don't compile at all. Please only send
money if you can. If you don't, please email me and tell me so!

* Magic Pointer 1.0 Requirements:
- Amiga OS 3.0 or later : this is because I patch SetWindowPointerA()
that is only available on Kickstart 3.0+
- A storage media :)
- Some memory (about 20KBytes or less).
- An Amiga running on 680x0 family processors
or with some kind of 680x0 family emulation (Yes, this is really a must ...).
(Yeah, I am already looking ahead with the RISC Amiga Family !)
- A display device (A monitor or a TV will do).
- Some brain cells (not many ! it has a installer script :)
- The installer program from Ex-Commodore (I think I am not allowed to distribute Installer).
- To use the On-line help you will need AmigaGuide(tm) or Multiview.
* Magic Pointer 1.0 features:
- Animated Normal+Busy Pointers
- Each Animation can have upto 999 frames if you have enough memory.
- If you have AGA and work in ScreenMode PAL or NTSC:
Horizontal High Resolution Normal+Busy Pointers.
- If you have AGA and a High Scan Rate ScreenMode ( ex: DBLPAL, MULTISCAN) :
Horizontal and Vertical High Resolution Normal+Busy Pointers.
- If you have not AGA ( ex: A3000 running WB3.0 ) :
Only Low Resolution Normal+Busy Pointers.
( I am working hard to do a LacePointer alike for
MagicPointer so that non AGA Amigas can still have
High Resolution Pointers)
- Allow Smart/Dumm Patch:
Dumm is faster and cooler but can fail on some configurations.
The fail is noticiable by a flicker of the animation. Just switch to Smart Patch :)
- Allow random choice of Busy Pointer at bootup.
This one requested by the author of YAK. Check YAK, it's great :)
- Separate pallete for Normal and Busy Pointers.
- Adjustable frame rate.
- Preferences GUI with a Animation Editor.
- Save Animations to DiskFiles.
With this, some one can make a cool animation and put in the internet available to
anyone !
- Author Name, Email and Comment to Animated Prefs file saved.
- Can make café on the fly - I like this one :)
- Will wake you up if the Pointer is busy for very long time :)
- Will not make cofé if the Pointer is busy for very long time :( damn...
- The program as extensively tested with 'segtracker', 'mungwall' and 'enforcer'.
- Has no enforcer hits! If you find one, and I can reproduce it, then you will receive
a free keyfile! Really ! Just tell me.
- DOES NOT *GURU* your machine in low memory situations. This is done by some clever
cleanup code of mine.
- Tested on the following configurations:
- A4000/040 AGA OS 3.0 2MB CHIP + 8MB FAST
- A4000/040 AGA OS 3.1 2MB CHIP + 8MB FAST
- Registered users will receive updates by email - uuencoded lha archives.
