CHAMRUIN.JPG- Ruins of a Cham temple complex at My Son, Quang Nam
province, Central Vietnam. The Cham civilization once held sway over a
large part of Central Vietnam. This temple complex was built in the 8th
century A.D. as a center of worship to Shiva, the Hindu god of creation
and destruction. Polish archaeologists have reportedly restored much of
My Son in the late 1980s. 1024 x 677 color JPEG.
