ABOUT:
This image is a frame from an upcoming demo tape I am
making. It is all rendered in scanline, and has only 2
brushmaps, none of which are acutally used on the truck
or planet.

The truck is modeled after one I saw in the Video Toaster
Magazine. That image was of a truck used to lay communcations
cable. This one is similar, but not exact to it.

All modeling of the truck was done using Imagine PC (2.0)
on a 486DX/33 MHZ. Then, it was copied to an Amiga 3000 for
rendering. The ground is a custom object, with a brushmap on
it. The brushmap was created by using VistaPro 2.0 to render
part of the Mars landscape that comes with the package up close,
to get a detail mars ground picture. The background with the
nebula and stars is a hand drawn brushmap from Light 24. Finally
the planet is just an Imagine Pastella texture.

The truck itself is fully polygonal, with no brushmaps or
textures. This includes the black curve on the trucks rear and
all the bolts etc... There are so many polygons on the truck,
that my PC with 8 megs couldn't quickrender it properly. That
is one reason I rendered it on the 3000. Also, I have a
Firecracker 24 and VistaPro on the Amiga, which is another reason
it was rendered on that computer.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to
send them over internet to the address below. I enjoy hearing
what other people think!

        Enjoy!
