This is a "try-out" startrek scene which I rendered using Imagine 2.9.
For the planet mapping I used bitmaps, although the Enterprise
has some procedural texture-maps applied.
The backgroud was quickly made with Dpaint IV AGA.
All work was done on this setup : A4000, 10mb mem, 120mb HD, Nec 3d.
