Raytrace of USS McNair. I created the Imagine object and this scene for
a friend of mine who is a fifth grade teacher. Part of his class curriculum
involves having the kids pretending to be Starfleet Academy Cadets crewing
the training ship USS McNair, named after Ron McNair, one of the Challenger
Shuttle Astronauts lost in 1986. It is a very clever way to sneak in all
sorts of science related subjects and cooperation skills while the kids think
they're having fun. Who says school can't be fun?
Thank you, Challenger! Your inspiration will never die.
Hope you like it!
