WHAT'S THIS FOR AND WHY IT'S BEEN DONE?
This is the addition to the great Leo Davidson & Trevor Morris' archive:
MWB_DOpus8c.lha. As there were no new uploads by them in a long time, and I
was in a need of some new pictograms, I decided not to wait. So, I carefully
created these fine animbrushes.
They are perfect [(anim)images] for Directory Opus 5.5+ and for MWB styled
Tool Manager, I guess, since never used TM.
WHAT IS THIS?
These are *small* 2-frames animbrushes. They are MWB styled so they fit
perfectly as the addition to the existing anim images found in the mentioned
archive. However, the images' names dont have the '.small' extension because
it annoys me and I've stripped this extension off from all of the image files.
If you like, you may add this extension by any directory tool you use.
Some of the pictograms were reworked from the old single-framed brushes found
in the MWB_DOpus_7.lha.
NEED HELP: *(IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THIS SECTION):*
I browsed through the Planet Aminet but could find no tool that builds a
2-frame icon fromout a 2-frame anim-brush. (Before I finished with all
these images I was deeeeeply convinced that there is such a tool).
Therefore, this archive contains no icons, as I don't feel like cutting and
pasting and importing for 48 times all over again, and those icons that could
be automatically created by DPaintV are just backfilled icons. Yuck! (Anyway,
I'm in constant lack of time).
As it's recommended to use animimages on 16+ colors DOpus' screens instead of
icons, these animbrushes are more than welcome, but problem arises when you
need the preview, then it'd be much better to have such small icons.
So, if you know of the tool that can do the job, please e-mail me, or if you
feel like doing it by the hand, or even know how to do such tool yourself or
know anybody that can do it, please send me your work in the attachement.
