Have you ever played Tic Tac Toe? Sure you have, but have you ever played
it with chromed steel rods rather than pencil marks on paper?
I have been playing with different ideas concerning TTT, and while thinking
about different ways of drawing the grid I decided to try raytracing it.
This is the result. Or the first one, anyway. I have been thinking about
making an animation where the pieces jump out of a box, form the grid and
start playing. That comes later, this is how far I got today.
For the technically interested, this was done with Imagine 3, with a bit of
help from ISL (Imagine Staging Language) and my word processor. Beats
loading, positioning, rotating and renaming all the parts manually in the
stage editor, if you ask me...
The conversion to JPEG format was done with GfxCon.
