I worked on this icon set years ago, planning to release them to Aminet when I had created
101 icons. Never finished of course, but now that the Smurfs 3D movie is coming out this
month, I figured I might as well upload them.
The large size is due to the extra audio and images which are loaded if you have Multiview
available; originally, I had wanted the audio to play automatically when you double-click
the icon (so I originally had the default tool as Play16), but with my limited knowledge of
Amiga icons, you have to click the audio icon when Multiview loads up the corresponding aiff file.

Originally, I was using Iconian editor under OS3, and then migrated to the native Amiga
Icon Editors (the icons were originally developed with NewIcons). I should also reference
Picasso IV/Concierto for allowing me to extract the audio from the Smurf cartoons.
My favorite smurfs were Clumsy and Rotten Smurf (with his pet 'fly').
I am not 100% certain how the icon set will view under the Amiga operating systems older
than 3.0 -- when I was originally developing the icons (with Iconian), I had used multiple icon
layers to have a different image set displayed for lower screenmodes/color modes. I am not
sure that has been preserved. I feel that I should say that the icons look best under 1024x768
in 16 bit mode, but the icons should display properly with less.. Let me know otherwise.
There were 2 things that I never implemented with this icon set (aside from never finishing):
1. I may try to export the icon set to Windows and/or Macintosh format.
2. At some point, Amiga OS3 operating system had featured animated icons, and I wanted
to try my hand at rendering those (I think I remember specifically a Christmas theme icon set).
ADDITIONAL NOTE [2011-07-20]: tried uploading to Aminet, it might have been rejected because
of the archive size, so I had to delete some of the aiff audio bites associated with some of the
icons.
