  Are you tired of checking all the sites in your bookmark every time you
 connect to the internet only to see if the same sites are changed or are
 always the same the day before ? Now with GuardAmy you can avoid this, it
 will make this work for you. Insert the URLs of the pages (or generic files
 as well), click on a button and the program will connect to all the sites
 and will report the ones that have been modified since the last time you
 checked them. You can make some actions on changed sites, for instance you can
 send the URL to a browser or to the clipboard, or you can execute a command.


  Remember also that this software is freeware, so you can copy it and use it
 without pay anything, you can spread this program only in his original format
 (i.e. this archive). Read the included guide for more informations and for the
 disclaimer.


 News: (from ver. 1.1)

     - first of all note that my email address is changed :) refere to the new

     - in the installer script changed "YamExpansion" with "GuardAmy"...
       a little cut&paste problem :)

     - now the "execute command" option works again with dynamic pages

     - added a CRC check for dynamic pages. Now if the page has no date and the
       size is the same but it contains different dates (also a single
character)
       then the page will be considered changed

     - in the Content Length column, when a site changes now is reported also
       the difference in bytes from the last length (none if the site is not
       changed or if the CRC is different)

     - now you can log connections in files. Use this option only when you
       want to report me bugs because this options slows the program a lot
       (save log files in a RAD: to avoid damages on your hard disk if the
       program crashes)

     - cause the "great" programmers that works on Microsoft-IIS web server,
       some pages caused always an Unknown Error because this "fantastic" server
       sends randomly HTML and JavaScript code in the reply to HEAD requests
       (very RFCs standard compliant, damn). Now fixed.

     - seems that programmers at Netscape want to imitate Microsoft ones :)
       Netscape-FastTrack web server puts only the Content Length field and also
       incorrect because the "L" of Length is lower case (it must be upper case
       as stated in RFCs). Netscape-Enterprise (wow the big one) send Last
Modified
       field but with the "M" lower case... now fixed.

     - removed a lot of situations that could cause Enforcer hits and crashes.
       However there can still be some problems.
       (10x for the report of suspected URLs)

  Sei stufo di controllare tutti i siti nel tuo bookmark ogni volta che ti
 colleghi a internet solo per vedere se questi siti sono cambiati oppure sono
 gli stessi del giorno prima ? Ora con GuardAmy puoi evitare tutto ciò, sarà
lui
 a fare questo lavoro per te. Inserisci le URL delle pagine (o di generici
file),
 clicka su un pulsante e il programma si collegherà a tutti i siti e ti
segnalerà
 quelli che sono stati modificati dall'ultima volta che li hai controllati. Puoi
 eseguire alcune azioni sui siti modificati, ad esempio puoi mandare l'URL a un
 browser o alla clipboard, oppure puoi eseguire un comando.


  Ricorda anche che questo programma è freeware, quindi puoi copiarlo e usare
 senza pagare niente, puoi diffondere questo programma solo nella sua forma
 originale (cioè questo archivio). Leggi la guida inclusa per ulteriori
 informazioni e per il disconoscimento.

       un singolo carattere) allora la pagina sarà considerata cambiata

     - nella colonna Lunghezza Contenuto, quando un sito cambia ora è riportata
       anche la differenza in byte dall'ultima lunghezza (se non c'è allora il
       sito non è cambiato oppure è cambiato il CRC)

     - ora puoi registrare l'attività delle connessioni dentro dei file. Usa
       questa opzione solo quando vuoi riportarmi dei bug in quanto questa
       opzione rallenta molto il programma (salva i file di log dentro una RAD:
       per evitare danni al disco fisso in caso di crash)

     - a causa dei "grandi" programmatori che lavorano sul server web
Microsoft-IIS
       alcune pagine provocavano sempre un Errore Sconosciuto in quanto questo
       "fantastico" server manda in modo casuale codice HTML e JavaScript nella
       risposta alle richieste HEAD (molto conforme agli standard delle RFC,
       cacchio). Ora risolto

     - sembra che i programmatori di Netscape vogliano imitare quelli di
       Microsoft :) Il server web Netscape-FastTrack inserisce solo il campo
       Content Length e anche sbagliato in quanto la "L" di Length è minuscola
       (deve essere maiuscola come stabilito nelle RFCs). Netscape-Enterprise
       (wow quello grosso) manda il campo Last Modified ma con la "M"
minuscola...
       ora risolto.

     - rimosse un mucchio di situazioni che potevano causare Enforcer hit e
       crash. Comunque ci possono essere ancora alcuni problemi.
