PROGRAMS USING THE FILES

NOTE
 - This AWeb-II version is about ten times more complex than
   the version for IBrowse (WWWworkbenchIB.lha), made possible by
   its extensive arexx commands and support for launching arexx
   scripts and passing arguments to it. Because of the large difference
   this AWeb version is labelled 2.0 while the IBrowse version is 1.0


MAIN APPLICATIONS

 - viewing and editing local directories used in web page design
 - optionally on remote website directories too via FTPMount
 - selecting files, and launching into external batch processing
 - etc

INSTALLATION --two ways--the install script or manually

  A:USE INSTALL SCRIPT--This will do the same as the manual installation below. You will
have the option of choosing method(s) by which you can launch WWWworkbench from the AWeb menus or
gadgets. After installing start the WWWworkbench via the menu or gadget.Further information
about configuration and usage is avaailable from the title page.

  B.MANUAL INSTALLATION
  1. copy/drag WWWworkbench drawer into AWeb's 'Plugins' directory (where FTPlus,etc are located).
  2. Create a StartWWWworkbench item in the AREXX menu
        -Go to SETTINGS-GuiSettings-Arexx.
        -Enter label 'Start WWWworkbench', and
        -install a path to the 'StartWWWworkbench.awebrx' file in the WWWworkbench drawer
        - CLICK SAVE
   (alternatively you can create a gadget or keyboard meethod of launching WWWworkbench)
  3. start the script.(Select from the arexx menu the installed item 'Start WWWworkbench')
  4. configuration: To start default values are used. Read the Guide for info on configuring.
    
DESCRIPTION
- WWWworkbench is largely a set of arexx scripts that generates html documents
on the fly which it then instructs AWeb to load.Aside from the fact that a
configuration file will be saved into WWWworkbench for next time, all action
takes place in a Ram:T/W4 directory. Thus it is very safe. However, since
I don't know what you will do with it, I hereby assume no responsibility for
any damages, that may result. Test your procedures first before you commence something
complex. You may be surprised to see what this program is capable of.

- It is designed for local directory managing, but I added support so you
 might view and edit remote directories with the use of FTPMount (c)Evan Scott avail
on aminet. Since browsers seem to freeze when trying to load something directly
through FTPMount, I have designed it so that AWeb loads all material via http:
and FTPMount is only used for directory editing operations such as FTPMount is
able to perform. This means that WWWworkbench can only be used on remote
directories where you have BOTH FTP access and http access.
As I say WWWworkbench is only a set of arexx scripts that utilize
AWeb and optionally FTPMount, whose operation you  have to deal with separately.
