CrashEdit is a complete FTN (FidoNet) message reader and editor with
charset conversion support. Features include:

Update with UTF-8 support, TTF FreeType, libpng and zlib (static builds supported)
Bugs related to undo and redo, and the new TTF wrapper, have been fixed

* Added small caching system for use with multiple fonts simultaneously
* Several errors related to the undo function have been corrected
* Added native spell checker, hyphenation, thesaurus and translator panel
* Added mouse support and improved editor display options
* Added support for JAM and MSG/FTS1/OPUS/SDM message bases

*Requires AmiSSL only when using the online translator with HTTPS

Dictionaries tested with the native spell checker include es_ES and en_US/
en_GB from the LibreOffice Dictionaries Collection. Place the .aff and .dic
files in the configured dictionary path.

Hyphenation tested with hyph_es and hyph_en_US files from the LibreOffice
Dictionaries Collection (hyph_*.dic format). Place them in the configured
hyphenation dictionary path.

Thesaurus tested with th_es_ES and th_en_US files from the LibreOffice
Dictionaries Collection (th_*.idx/.dat format). Place them in the configured
thesaurus dictionary path.

StarDict-compatible offline dictionaries can be obtained from:
https://stardict.uber.space/ (mirror), http://download.huzheng.org/ or
https://freedict.org/downloads/. Place the .ifo, .idx and .dict files in the
configured dictionary path
